NYAC 2015: Accommodations

Part of what helps keep NYAC affordable is that we arrange to have dorms available to our attendees to lower the cost of attending.  This year lodging will be available in the University Commons (#35 on the campus map).

The costs for dorm rooms this year are the same prices for singles and doubles

First night—$65
All additional nights—$55
The dorm rooms include televisions, micro-fridges, sinks, wastebaskets, and basic linens  [2-sheets, 2-towels, pillow with pillowcase, blanket].
Two rooms share one bathroom. Laundry facilities, including irons and ironing boards, are available in the residence hall.

If you prefer not to stay on campus, there are many hotels and motels in the Fredonia/Dunkirk area that you can contact directly for a place to stay during the conference.  Contact information and the addresses of these lodgings are listed below:

  1. Do we need to bring pillows, sheets & blankets if we are staying in the resident hall?

    1. Usually the basic linens package includes a pillow with case, a regular sheet, and a blanket. I'll double check now and get back to you.

  3. FYI Amtrak runs a bus from Buffalo that stops at the student union on campus, so I am taking the train/bus in this year.

    1. There is no fee to park. You can use either lot 10 or 13 for the Williams Center on this map: http://www.fredonia.edu/maps/parking.asp
